Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

a better patient experience

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Dr Sulaiman Al Habib Hospital is a multidisciplinary unit. The newly installed state of the art monitors and ultramodern Hill-Rom beds allow us to monitor our critically ill patients with even greater precision.

The ICU is equipped to provide care for patients who have suffered a serious illness or have undergone major surgery. Common treated patients include those with ACS, multi system/organ failure, sepsis, G.I. bleeds, infectious diseases, diabetic ketoacidosis, cardiac and respiratory arrest, renal failure, stroke, endocrine abnormalities and obstetric/gynaecological issues. As well as those who have are recovering after different types of surgery or procedures.
